The Start of a Journey

From a young age, I used to get into fights a lot....

At the age of 9, I started to become interested in Chinese Kungfu and swordplay...
At the age of 11, I started training in swordfighting and practice staff arts.
At the age of 12, I weighed 28kg...

At the age of 13, I started training in Japanese sword styles and Chinese Kungfu but weighed a nimble weight of 35kg.

Ignore the insanity of the pose/expression ^ :)

At the age of 14, I started training in Escrima, phillipino martial arts and became an avid practioner of swordfighting, collecting more and more swords. From a nimble weight of 28kg at the age of 12 I doubled weight to 56kg due to delving into the world of weight lifting and bodyweight strength training.

Early Days
Prime- forgot leg day XD
At the age of 15, I have started studying and reading books on martial arts and weapon mastery and training according to the texts...I have also decided that I would dedicate myself to the perfection and mastery of combat skills. Bruce Lee and Miyamoto Musashi have become my idols and I have delved into the world of Shaolin Martial Arts. Right now, I am adapting bojutsu, wing chun, jeet kune do, kenjutsu and shaolin martial arts to fit what suits me and create my own martial art philosophy: Eki Tai Ko.

My first time working out after a 4 month stop between Yr9 and Yr10.

My journey begins here...I hope you will join me. I will posting my thoughts on martial arts and what I have learnt as well as videos of my progress.
